It doesn't matter which thumb hits the space bar - for most people it tends to be their dominant hand's thumb. Only thing is it crashed twice in five minutes as they were trying to demo it on the styand at BETT - taking a half finished / still in development resource and releasing it to the public . . . remind anyone of anything . . .? The trial version will expire at the end of March and then the proper version will be released after we have submitted all the bugs and fixes that are required. It allows simultaneous use of two pens and a crisper feel to alot of the tools. AND, praise the Lord, the ability to have multiple flip charts open. It was interesting to see that the Home Access programme had relatively little prominence on stands - 120 replies in the first day of a survey of schools we work with, showed that only 1/3 know about Home Access and feel confident in what it is! These are contacts who are running or considering our model to equip all students in a cohort with a device to support their learning 24/7, usually involving funding from our charity.
